 The local chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution has announced two opportunities for Eagle Scouts of the Tall Timbers District and the George Strake District.
1. A Certificate of Recognition is available for new Eagle Scouts. If the Scout desires, it may be presented in person at the Court of Honor by a chapter member in historic military uniform.
2. The Freedom Chapter will award one $250 scholarship annually to one Eagle Scout in Tall Timbers District or George Strake District. The chapter's winning entry will proceed to state competition for additional scholarship opportunities.
