Scheduling Eagle Scout Boards of Review in Tall Timbers District: 

To be a valid Eagle board of review, it is a National REQUIREMENT that an authorized District Representative sit on the board.  BEFORE a unit schedules an Eagle board of review for one of its Scouts, a representative from the unit should contact the District Advancement Committee at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to have a District Representative assigned for your board. 

The role of the District Representative is to ensure consistency with BSA policies and procedures and to protect the youth.  It is also a REQUIREMENT that the youth have an original Eagle Scout Rank Application that has been approved and signed by the Council Program Director, and that you have letters of recommendation for the youth as set out in the Eagle Scout Rank Application. 

Please provide your proposed date(s) for your board AT LEAST TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE.  Please offer more than one date, to help our District Representatives meet your schedule.  Our District Representatives are all volunteers, and we they need reasonable notice to arrange their plans and schedules.
